The Member (Thermal), Central Electricity Authority (CEA), vide D.O. letter dated August 07, 2026, has advised Power utilities to undertake their Thermal Power Plants’ comprehensive water audits through a structured and scientific audit protocol.

In this regard, the Excellence Enhancement Centre for Indian Power Sector (EEC) (An Initiative of Indo-German Energy Cooperation) is pleased to organize a technical webinar on “Water Audit for Thermal Power Plants” in coordination with CEA. The technical presentation covering various aspects of water auditing in Thermal Power Plants will be made by Shri Anuj Kanwal, Chief Engineer (Civil Design), Central Electricity Authority, at 15:10 hrs on September 11, 2026, through Microsoft Teams. Member (Thermal), CEA, has kindly consented to inaugurate the webinar at 15:00 hrs.
