We are pleased to inform you that Excellence Enhancement Centre for Indian power Sector (EEC) in association with Indo-German Energy Forum Support Office (IGEF-SO) and Steag Energy Services India Pvt Ltd. is organizing a specialized Simulator Training Program on Flexible Operation of 660 MW unit of Thermal Power Station.
In 2026 five training weeks (4-Day program) have been planned as below:
The training is scheduled to be held from 10:00 hours to 17:00 Hours at Power Plant Learning Center of STEAG Energy Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. A-25, Sector 16 Noida-201301 India.
The objective of the program is to enhance the knowledge and operational skills of engineers and operators in handling flexible and dynamic operations of thermal power plants in the current scenario of high renewable energy integration. The training will be conducted on state-of-the-art simulator, providing participants with hands-on experience in flexible operation scenarios. Please refer to the program for details.We take great pleasure in inviting your organization to nominate suitable participants for this training program. The program is designed for operation engineers, shift in-charges, and executives involved in O&M of thermal power stations. The batch size is of eight participants only in order to impart qualitative training. EEC reserves the rights to finalize the list of eight participants in case number exceeds eight. There is no training fee for the participants from Central Govt. and State Govt., however the participants from private Genco’s need to pay a training fee of Rs 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) plus tax (as applicable). However, the boarding and lodging needs to be taken care by the participants in both cases (Govt as well as private Genco’s participants).
